Based in Doonan, on Queensland’s beautiful Sunshine Coast, Australian artist, Stan Reynolds is driven to paint and create with much of his inspiration coming from his life experiences. The good, the bad and the less than perfect characters of human frailty.
The philosophy for my painting is they must portray the colour and emotion that I feel when I decide to paint.
Now living in Doonan, halfway between Noosa and Eumandi, Stan feels that the Sunshine Coast Hinterland is the ideal inspiration for his art.
His first training at East Sydney Tech. Was the beginning of a lifetime
love for expressing himself through painting.
